Farbod Biglari (born November 9, 1993, in Tehran, Iran) is a Vancouver-based guitarist, composer, songwriter, vocalist, and arranger. He began his musical journey at the age of nine with classical guitar, developing a strong technical foundation and a lasting artistic sensitivity. Alongside his musical training, Biglari studied Cinema and Theatre in Iran, an experience that continues to shape his interdisciplinary approach to music and storytelling.

He is currently studying Contemporary/Jazz Music at Vancouver Community College (VCC), where he continues to develop his skills in performance, composition, and musical analysis.

As an independent artist, Biglari has released a number of original works, including his album Kabous(“Nightmare”), along with several singles and compositions written for theatre. His music reflects a blend of personal expression and influences from jazz and contemporary styles.

He has also composed the theme music for the podcast Vancouver Know Your Neighbour, created by Pranav Temburnikar. In addition to his role as composer, he was featured as a guest in Episode 3, where he discussed his musical journey and artistic direction.

Alongside his own work, Biglari is actively involved in preserving and presenting his family’s musical heritage. This includes projects related to his mother, as well as archival releases of recordings by Soheil, a 1970s vocalist. The first volume of Soheil’s work has been released, and he is currently working on Volume 2.

Through both his original compositions and archival initiatives, Farbod Biglari continues to expand his artistic activity across performance, composition, and cultural preservation.
